Throughout the trial alot of secrets come out and its obvious that Tom Robinson was not guilty. Then Atticus got up and started cross examining him asking did he call a doctor and Mr.Tate said he didn’t need to. He said Mr.Ewell came to him saying some nigger raped his daughter and he found her lying on the floor inside the house. Mr.Gilmer was questioning Mr.Heck Tate about that night asking him what occurred. The kids snuck in and watched the trial from the black balcony. ![]() Throughout the chapters they start the trial with Tom Robinson. Aunt Alexandria disagree”s but they all moved on. She knows what she means to this family”. She doesn’t agree with Atticus allowing her to raise his children thats just how it was back then but Atticus feircely disagreed telling Alexandria,”Anything fit to say at the table’s fit to say in front of Calpurnia. Aunt Alexandria is mad because Atticus is talking about them and she doesn’t like them. My question is why is Aunt Alexandria mad about Atticus talking about the case in front of Calpurnia?. One morning Atticus was talking about the case with the family when Cal was serving breakfast and Alexandria of course had something to say such as,”Don’t talk like that in front of them”. She doesn’t like how her Aunt always has something to complain about when it comes to Calpurnia. While that is all going on Scout is having her own issue with her Aunt Alexandria. They threatened them and caused a scene but Atticus and the kids just went home. ![]() As the family is out another group of guys came up to them but this time they were strangers. So a group of guys came to there house telling atticus he better not be taking up for Tom. The whole town is against Atticus defending Mr.Robinson because of his skin color. In chapter 15 Atticus gets prepared for the trial of Tom Robinson being accused of rape and assult by Mayella Ewell.
